TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) therapy is a non-invasive method used to manage urinary problems such as urinary incontinence and bladder control disorders.
This treatment can be especially effective in cases of urinary incontinence due to neurological diseases.
ENS therapy stimulates nerves by sending low-dose electrical impulses through electrodes placed on the skin. These impulses affect the nerve pathways that control bladder control, which can reduce symptoms of urinary incontinence. Treatment is usually given once a week for about 30 minutes and lasts at least a month.
